17th Annual Stoneleigh Stampede

The Stoneleigh Community is hosting its 17th Annual 5k fun run & 1 mile walk.

This year's charity beneficiary is Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA).  

Half of the net race proceeds will be donated to this charity and the remaining half benefits the Stoneleigh Community Association.

Course Description

The course starts and stops in the heart of Historic Stoneleigh, at the Stoneleigh Pool, 821 Hatherleigh Road

Parking

Runners driving to the race are asked to park at Stoneleigh Elementary School located at 900 Pemberton Road, Baltimore, MD 21212

Timing

The 5k will be timed. For the safety of all participants, NO pets, headsets, rollerblades, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, or bicycles are permitted in either event.  Strollers are allowed. 

Awards

Performance awards will be given to the top male and female finisher overall and in each category.
Age Groupings: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59 60 and over
Race Results will be posted on www.charmcityrun.com

Race Registration/Packet Pick Up

Your pre-assigned number and t-shirt will be available for pick up on either Friday, May 26th from 5:30-7:30pm at the Stoneleigh Pool or at the registration table on race day.  Race day sign in will be held starting at 7:00am at the Stoneleigh Pool.  Race day registration is permissable.  After May 5th,  a t-shirt is not guaranteed.  

PAYMENT

Please make check payable to: Stoneleigh Community Association c/o Sara Waire, 6901 Avondale Road, Baltimore, MD 21212.  For those families taking advantage of the discounted family max rate of $75, please complete a form for each family member and make a note on the check.  

EACH PARTICIPANT, REGARDLESS OF AGE, MUST COMPLETE AN ENTRY FORM AND SIGN A RELEASE.  ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE ACCEPTABLE.
